Mediterranean International Visa hereby issues this formal public clarification regarding certain third-party content appearing on MouthShut.com and associated search-engine results.

Mediterranean International Visa has not authorised MouthShut.com to represent our organisation in any capacity.

We do not recognise MouthShut.com as our authorised representative, communication channel, customer-verification agency, business partner or official information source.

Any representation suggesting otherwise is expressly rejected and disputed by us.

2. DISPUTED CUSTOMER REVIEWS

We have identified reviews and other content concerning our organisation which we strongly dispute.

Where a person claims to be our customer, the existence of a username, review profile or online posting does not establish that the individual actually purchased our services or had any genuine transaction with us.

We do not accept anonymous or unverified allegations as proof of a customer relationship.

Any person claiming to have been our customer should be able to establish the underlying transaction through appropriate documentary evidence.

3. UNAUTHORISED USE OF OUR IDENTITY

We are concerned about the appearance of our business name, branding, logo, photographs and/or business information on third-party pages that have not been created, approved or authorised by us.

We specifically reserve our right to place any documentary evidence of such conduct before the appropriate authorities, regulators and courts.

We will not accept, tolerate or participate in any arrangement in which our reputation is allegedly used as leverage for commercial demands.

If any person or organisation has attempted to obtain money from us by threatening, implying or conditioning the removal, suppression or management of allegedly negative content, we reserve all rights to treat such conduct as a serious legal matter and pursue every remedy available to us.

5. GOOGLE SEARCH RESULTS ARE NOT PROOF OF AUTHENTICITY

The appearance of a MouthShut page in Google Search does not constitute verification by Google of the truthfulness of the underlying review.

Search indexing is not customer verification.

Search ranking is not proof of a transaction.

Search visibility is not proof that a review is genuine.

Accordingly, no customer, journalist, business partner or other person should treat the mere appearance of a third-party webpage in Google search results as an official confirmation by Mediterranean International Visa.

6. WE DO NOT ACCEPT FALSE OR FABRICATED REPRESENTATIONS

We will strongly challenge any content that we can establish to be:

* fabricated;
* submitted by a person who was never our customer;
* materially misleading;
* falsely attributed to a customer;
* based on a nonexistent transaction;
* using our identity without authorisation;
* defamatory;
* deliberately designed to damage our business reputation; or
* connected with unlawful commercial pressure.

Freedom to express a genuine customer opinion does not create a licence to manufacture a customer identity, invent a transaction or publish knowingly false information.

7. OUR POSITION IS CLEAR

Mediterranean International Visa does not endorse, approve, verify or accept responsibility for disputed third-party content published about us on MouthShut.com.

We strongly reject any attempt to present such content as an official record of our customers, services, transactions or business position.

Where allegations are made against our organisation, we expect the person making those allegations to provide appropriate evidence supporting the underlying claim.

8. NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS, MEDIA & BUSINESS PARTNERS
